One wrestler can beat another on any given day. We do not measure success in terms of wins and losses. We measure success in terms of attitude, effort, leadership, and teamwork. Each year at our end of season banquet, wrestlers are recognized in the following categories:
Most Improved Award
This wrestler demonstrates the most growth either throughout the season or from one season to the next.
Inspirational Award
This wrestler best exemplifies leadership, team spirit, optimism, and grit.
Mr. Hustle Award
This wrestler brings it. During practices, this wrestler gives 100%, and finishes each one strong. During competition, this wrestler shows grit and determination.
Coach's Award
This wrestler is the whole package -- one that possesses the qualities of all the awards.
These awards have been given out since 2006, but we only started recording recipients in 2015.
