*At present, Copper cards are not accepted to coach at the WSWA State Championship Tournament. A Bronze level or higher is required.

Olympia Wrestling Club official coaches are expected to:

• Coach ALL Silverback wrestlers
• NEVER be alone with a wrestler other than your own child - use the rule of three
• Attend as many practices as possible, actively coaching
• Attend as many competitive events as possible, actively coaching
• Remain at events as long as Silverback wrestlers are still competing
• Wear an OWC coach's shirt to competitive events
• Attend coaches' meetings
• Set a good example for wrestlers
• Treat wrestlers and parents with respect
• Uphold our Code of Conduct
• Report Code of Conduct violations to Head Coach

To become an official Olympia Wrestling Club coach, you need to:

• E-mail Head Coaches to state your interest and shirt size
• Obtain a USA Wrestling coaching card - Copper level or higher
• Complete background check
• Agree to the expectations outlined above
